Hope Starts Here
The Hope Foundation has always been about standing side by side with people in our community, helping them take the next step toward a brighter future.
Why Hope Still Matters
Since 1995, The Hope Foundation has played a role in supporting people who felt excluded, overlooked or unsure of their next step. Over the years, our work has changed, but our purpose has stayed the same.
Hope has always been about offering practical support, sharing knowledge and helping people find their way through challenges. Even as we move into a new chapter, that commitment remains.
Hope is not defined by a building. It is defined by care, community and the belief that everyone deserves the chance to move forward.

While Hope House is no longer open to the public, our original mission was to promote digital inclusion, and this work continues through furbd. The information and resources from our Centre for Warmth project are still available online, along with useful contacts.
The world is changing, and we must change with it. The true legacy of Hope is in the lives that have been transformed. It’s in the people who walked through our doors, found their confidence, built skills and went on to do amazing things.
We’re still here, providing the tools and support that empower people to shape their own futures and build a stronger, more connected community.
What We Are Doing Today
Although our building is no longer open to the public, Hope continues to offer support in ways that meet people where they are.
furbd
furbd is our main project supporting digital inclusion. We refurbish donated devices and pass them on to people who need them, helping with job searching, learning, accessing services and everyday online tasks. So far, furbd has provided more than 2,000 devices across our community.

Centre for Warmth
Our Centre for Warmth project has now finished but left a collection of clear information and helpful resources to support people with energy use, staying warm, and understanding the assistance available to them. We signpost to trusted organisations and services that offer in-person support where needed
